How does the process work?
UCF is people helping people. People just like yourself, all over the country. Freely giving directly to people in need.
UCF is non-denominational, placing no restriction on race, creed, religion, class, or political persuasion.
UCF is very much YOUR instrument. Use it to help those around you through your church, business or civic group.

UCF becomes aware of a need.
UCF becomes aware of a suffering person that has experienced, or is experiencing, financial tragedy. How does UCF become aware of a need? |

UCF verifies and approves the need .
Appeals for aid go to the Board Of Trustees, who give sincere and prayerful attention to each need. They review pictures, a detailed description of the need, and documents from credible people that attest to the accuracy of the need. |

UCF publishes the appeal.
Gifts of love, notes of prayer and gifts of money are mailed by each contributor directly to the recipient. The recipient is instructed that upon receipt, each envelope is to be emptied; and, the amount it contained, the date and his/her initials clearly written on it to verify receipt of each gift; then, once each month, mail the "validated" envelopes to the UCF Office to enable them to issue a receipt to each contributor at the end of the year. |

may partially depend upon the associate who originates it,
