Associates
What is an Independent Associate?
Independent Associates are individuals, in any walk of life who, when they encounter someone in need, experience a willingness to help.
UCF Associates come from all denominations, and need not even be a member of a church.
A UCF Associate basically does three things:
 |
DISCOVERS.
A UCF Associate encounters a person that has experienced, or is experiencing, financial tragedy and suffering. This may be a friend, a colleague, or community member, to name a few. |
 |
DETAILS.
A UCF Associate notifies UCF of the need. Sends a picture, detailed description of the need, and documents the accuracy of the need from credible people. |
 |
DISTRIBUTES.
A UCF Associate properly distributes the printed UCF appeals, thoroughly explaining to those receiving them how the program guarantees that the money given will go where they intend because each contributor will mail their contribution directly to that location. |

There is no membership required to be a UCF Associate. UCF will not pressure people to give, nor will it impose requirements for its associates to raise funds.

NOTICE: DUE TO THE INCREASED COST OF OVERSEAS MAIL
HELP FROM UNITED CHRISTIAN FUND IS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR THOSE
WHO RESIDE WITHIN THE COUNTRY IN WHICH A GIVEN APPEAL ORIGINATES.

Since distribution of a given UCF appeal
may partially depend upon the associate who originates it,
if you reside in a country that has few or no active UCF Associates,
PLEASE CONSIDER BECOMING ONE YOURSELF!
YOU CAN BECOME UCF IN YOUR COMMUNITY!
WHY NOT DO IT TODAY?
