The United Christian Fund is an independent, non-profit 501-C3 organization that seeks to discover, proof, and implement financial needs directly from giving people to needy people. There is no membership required, and no requirements or pressure on the givers or receivers. The United Christian Fund is made up of three primary "arms:"
The vision of the United Christian Fund (along with the United Community Fund and United Children's Fund) is every charity, church, business, agency and civic organization in the community coming together to help those in their community who suffer financial tragedy. These groups seek to respond to at least one Official United Community Fund Appeal each month, mailing their gift directly to the person for whom the appeal is being published. The UCF uses a series of legal "checks and balances" to insure that all monies are properly used. |

How It All Started As a christian businessman, Charles W. Bush watched God instantly change thousands of lives through prayer, testimony, and personal counsel. However he also observed that victims of personal financial tragedy frequently endured long periods of suffering as God arranged to supply their need through supernatural means, while His desperately willing people stood helplessly by, each feeling the tiny gift they could give would not help. The need was often so large, and their gifts so small, those observing cried out "The need is much too much for one source to supply!" The United Solution In genuine concern, Wes sought a solution, and God gave an answer: the parable of the "Widow's Mite." The tiniest of all gifts was declared by God to be the "most" of all. Suddenly, Wes realized that, when coupled with thousands of others, the tiny "mite" becomes "mighty", and turns financial tragedy into triumph! The United Christian Fund unites literally thousands like you to meet otherwise un-meetable needs. |
